Scope of activities
Pursuant to the Ordinance No. 100 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw of 25 September 2019, on the University Organisational Rules and Regulations, the scope of activities of the Office for Personnel Social Benefits [pl. BSSOC] includes handling social and livelihood matters of employees, pensioners and their families, as well as the supervision of the University’s social facilities.
- handling matters related to the administration of the funds of the University Social Benefits Fund, regulated in the Ordinance No. 291 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw of 21 December 2020 on the University Social Benefits Fund Rules and Regulations;
- implementing the tasks related to securing the social, livelihood and housing needs of persons entitled to the benefits of the University Social Benefits Fund;
- handling matters related to the livelihood needs of University students in terms of issuing referrals for lunch sets available by subscription in the UW Canteen;
- supervising the operation of the University’s Holiday Homes, facilities providing hotel services, the Academic Staff Hall of Residence, the UW Canteen and the “Uniwersyteckie Maluchy” UW Crèche;
- supervising the operation of the student halls of residence in terms of facilities administration;
- ensuring the proper technical together with occupational health and safety (OHS) conditions for the use of the facilities administered.
