Sports and leisure activities organised by Physical Education and Sports Centre [pl. SWFiS]

UW employees working under an employment contract, pensioners and disability pensioners can take advantage of the offer of organised sports activities (financed by the University Social Benefits Fund) provided by the Physical Education and Sports Centre [pl. Please be informed that an advance income tax payment on the subsidy mentioned above will be deducted from the applicant’s remuneration should it be another benefit received by the applicant from the University Social Benefits Fund in the given year and the amount of benefits received so far exceeds PLN 1,000 gross for UW employees/PLN 4,500 gross for UW pensioners.

The subsidy for sports activities amounts to PLN 220 gross.

Activities being offered in the summer semester 2025/2026 include:

  • badminton;
  • gymnastics;
  • fitball;
  • online healthy spine exercises;
  • ergo fitness;
  • indoor wall climbing;
  • gym with an instructor;
  • aqua fitness;
  • aqua body shape;
  • volleyball;
  • table tennis;
  • pilates with yoga elements;
  • fascia training;
  • latino body shape
  • body shape
  • ballroom dancing

Due to the high level of interest and the possibility of registering for only one class group in the first round, it is recommended that several groups (arranged in order of most preferred) in which a person is most interested are included in their application. In case there are no places in the first class group, those interested will be registered for the next group as indicated by them, where the places are still available.

Pensioners and disability pensioners are required to submit their applications for co-financing between 13 February and 27 February 2026 in paper form.

Employees are required to submit their subsidy applications between  13 February – 1 March 2026,   electronically by completing an online form using the DocSense generator: DocSense Document Management System – will be opened in a new window

Only those who have received information from the SWFiS about having qualified for the class participation are entitled to submit their applications
