  • in a single room – PLN 710/person
  • in a double room – PLN 550/person
  • in a double room (in a two-room segment) – PLN 800/person

  • residence of one person in a multi-person room only in case of vacancies: price for a single room + 25%
  • no rooms for married couples or for a parent with a child available

Reservation fee amount – PLN 730.00    Reservation fee for the academic year 2024-2025:

  • The amount of the reservation fee connected with accommodation in student halls of residence at the University of Warsaw for students, doctoral students and postgraduate students of the University of Warsaw and their children, as well as for beneficiaries of scholarships granted by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange [pl. NAWA], is equal to the amount indicated in the appendix to the resolution.
  • The reservation fee connected with accommodation in student halls of residence for persons other than those referred to in section 1 is double the amount indicated in the appendix to the resolution.

Price list for guest rooms during the 2024 holiday period:

  • price of a single room – PLN 120/day/person
  • price of a double room – PLN 80/day/person
  • price of a double room in a segment – PLN 150/day/person
  • price of a single room in a segment – PLN 190/day/person
  • price of a double room in a one-room segment – PLN 150/day/person

Hotel guests staying longer than 14 days will be receive a discount of 10% and for longer than 30 days – a discount of 30%.

Guest room check-in starts at 12:00 and check-out is till 11:00.

Due date and form of payment for dormitory accommodation:

  • the student should pay the fee for accommodation in a student room by the 20th day of each month by making a transfer to a bank account (or doing so at a bank or post office).
  • the dormitory accommodation fee should be paid to the individual bank account number visible in the USOS system (available after obtaining accommodation)
  • the deposit is payable in cash in PLN
  • the payment for a stay in guest rooms should be made on arrival in cash or by card in PLN

Days and hours of check-in: Monday – Friday, 9:00-14:00 (in September – October: 09:00-15:00)

The allocation of dormitory places is handled by the Student Welfare and Support Office [pl. BPM].

Places can be also allocated by the International Relations Office [pl. BWZ] (in case of short-term exchanges) and the Office for Persons with Disabilities [pl. BON].

Things required for accommodation procedure:

  • identity card/passport
  • two photographs of an identity card format

Resident’s card:

After obtaining accommodation, the student will receive a resident’s card with a photograph, name and surname, the number of the allocated room and its expiry date on it. This card entitles them to collect a key to their room.

  • price for students from other universities: price for a place in a room + PLN 150.00 net + 8% VAT
  • residence of one person in a multi-person room only in case of vacancies: price for a single room + 25%

Deposit for the academic year 2022-2023:

  • Pursuant to § 2, section 1 of the Resolution of the Rector of the University of Warsaw No. 11 of 19 July 2023: “The amount of the deposit related to accommodation in the University of Warsaw student halls of residence for students and doctoral students of the University of Warsaw and their children, as well as postgraduate students of the School of Education of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation and the University of Warsaw and beneficiaries of scholarships granted by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange [pl. NAWA] shall be equal to the amount of the one-month fee for a place in the student halls of residence.
  • Pursuant to § 2, section 2 of the Resolution of the Rector of the University of Warsaw No. 11 of 19 July 2023, the amount of the deposit related to accommodation in the student halls of residence for persons other than those listed in section 1 shall be equal to the amount of the two-month fee for a place in student halls of residence.”
