Swimming pool passes
Once per semester, UW employees/pensioners/retirees are entitled to receive a pass financed by the Company Social Benefits Fund, entitling them to use the swimming pool. Passes are available for collection at the Social Affairs Office between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The value of the passes is PLN 160 gross.Please be advised that an advance payment of income tax on the above-mentioned subsidy will be deducted from the applicant’s salary if it is another benefit received by the applicant from the Company Social Benefits Fund this year and the amount of benefits used so far exceeds PLN 1,000 gross for UW employees/PLN 4,500 gross for UW pensioners. PLN 500 gross for UW retirees.

Rules for using the swimming pool at the University of Warsaw Sports and Recreation Centre for UW employees and retirees in the 2025/2026 academic year
(summer semester)
Employees and retirees are entitled to receive a pass financed by the Company Social Benefits Fund (as a benefit in kind) during the summer semester, entitling them to use the swimming pool.
Passes worth PLN 160 can be collected from the Social Affairs Office from 23 February 2026,
between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
The pass is valid from 23 February 2026 to 30 June 2026 and entitles the holder to 20 visits to the swimming pool, with a swimming time of 45 minutes.
Entry to the swimming pool at full hours and half hours.
On Saturdays and Sundays, employees can participate in classes with their children.
The swimming pool at the Sports and Recreation Centre at ul. Banacha 2a is available to employees and retirees during breaks in physical education classes and outside the AZS UW training and competition schedule.
