“Bajka” Holiday Home in Łukęcin

The summer holiday destination of Łukęcin, located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship on the Trzebiatów Coast, is a place full of peace and quiet. A steep cliff shoreline with spectacular sea views flanks the clean and wide beach. Łukęcin is situated amidst a coniferous forest separating the Baltic Sea from the centre of the village.

There are numerous hiking trails and attractive cycle routes in the area:

The Dziwnów – Dziwnówek bicycle path is approximately 3.5 km long (travel time about 10-15 minutes);
The Dziwnówek – Łukęcin bicycle path is approximately 5 km long (travel time about 30-45 minutes, depending on the chosen route);
The Łukęcin – Pobierowo bicycle path is approximately 4.5 km long (travel time about 20-30 minutes);

The “Bajka” Holiday Home is surrounded by forest and situated approximately 300 metres from the seashore. It was built by the University of Warsaw in 1994 and started functioning in the summer of the same year. The facility fits the recreational needs of the University employees, pensioners and doctoral students and their families. The building has two floors, is U-shaped, made of brick and finished with wooden elements. The Holiday Home offers single, double, triple and quadruple rooms with private bathroom facilities. Additionally, there are public bathrooms in the corridors. The ground floor, in addition to the holiday rooms, has: a reception, kitchen, dining room, fireplace room with TV, games room with a table tennis and pool tables. There is also a gym on the second floor.

Outside the Holiday Home, there is free parking, free bicycle rental, a patio with a fountain, a sports field, a children’s playground and a fire pit. Its proximity to the clean sea and the surrounding spruce and pine forest make it an ideal place for people of all ages.
