FAQ:

What should I do if I want to extend my accommodation in the DPN but my employment contract or the duration of my studies or doctoral programme is shorter than the duration of my accommodation for the given academic year?
If your data was not updated in USOS or SAP systems, you should contact your faculty/doctoral school/unit to attach to your application a certificate that you plan to extend your contract, study, doctoral programme for the period of accommodation in the DPN. The Committee for the DPN Accommodation will process only a complete set of documents. Applications without the certificates will be sent back to the applicant with the request for supplementation.

How should I submit an application for new accommodation or for its extension?
The application, together with the complete set of documents, can be submitted to the Office for Personnel Social Benefits:

  • through a faculty, doctoral school or organisational unit;
  • directly by the applicant via email to: komisja.dpn@uw.edu.pl;
  • through the Central Office of the University of Warsaw, Auditorium Maximum, 26/28 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street, 00-927 Warsaw;
  • in person to the secretary’s office of the Office for Personnel Social Benefits.

What if I have not yet been allocated a UW email address?
Pursuant to § 3, section 3 of the Ordinance No. 279 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw dated 10 December 2020 on the University of Warsaw email accounts, “the correspondence of a University employee, student and/or doctoral student sent from an email account other than their university email account shall be left without consideration”. In this case, the application must be delivered in person or submitted by the University’s organisational unit.
